Madonna gave her first show concert in Russia as part of her Sticky and Sweet world tour on August 2, 2009. It was held in the city of St. Petersburg and once again proved that the singer is one of the best on the world stage.

The concert was conventionally divided into 4 parts - introductory, "disco", "gypsy motives", final. Stunning video interludes were shown between them.

The pop diva is back in a charming red skirt. The song Into the groove was accompanied by an interesting number in which dancers jumped over a rope. Madonna also honored the memory of Michael Jackson - she sang an excerpt from his song Billie Jean.

The third part of the show included songs with a wide variety of motives - gypsy, Indian, Spanish. Anticipating Miles away, the singer said that it is a great honor for her to perform in Russia. This was followed by La isla bonita in an unusual, bright version and the beautiful ballad You must love me, performed by Madonna with a guitar.
The last part was opened by a video interlude to the composition Get stupid. Shots depicting crimes against humanity replaced each other, the faces of villains and tyrants flashed. Among them was Lukashenka.
As it got dark in the sky, two huge Ms lit up on the sides of the stage. Madonna performed her most popular hits. In the finale, the rousing Give it to me sounded. The singer jumped off the stage and held the microphone to the fans. The audience rejoiced heartily. It was only when “Game over” lit up on the screens that everyone felt a little sad that such a wonderful show had ended.
