This summer, Madonna, the queen of pop music, once again delighted the Russians with her performance. Two colorful concerts, which took place in Moscow and St. Petersburg, were grandiose in their scope and, as always, were a real performance with many characters.
Madonna's world tour, during which she gave two concerts in Russia, is in support of her new album M. D. N. A. On August 7, she performed in Moscow on the stage of the Olimpiyskiy Sports Complex, and on August 9, at the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex.
Despite the rather decent cost of tickets (from 1,500 rubles), both concerts gathered a full hall of fans of the singer's work or simply lovers of high-quality pop music. Performances began with a three-hour delay, during which thousands of people were tormented by the heat and stuffiness of the poorly ventilated hall. Madonna was opened by Swedish DJ Alesso.
However, the wait for many hours was worth the show the performer showed. Her performance began with the appearance of a large church gate with a cross on the stage, on which was written the name of the tour - M. D. N. A. The singer herself took the stage under the bell ringing with a rifle in her hands and the words "Oh, my God."
Throughout the entire time, Madonna's show was balancing on the verge of aggression and sensuality - the singer either dealt with her enemies in a hotel room, then walked on a tightrope, then suddenly became a touching woman. The scenery, costumes and shots on the screens changed. One thing remained unchanged - the singer's good voice and magnificent plasticity, and, of course, her talent for shocking. She surprised, made you think about life, energized and did not leave anyone indifferent in the hall.
During the performance, the singer performed her hits Vogue, Like a Prayer, Papa Don, t Peach, as well as songs from the new album - Gang Bang, Revolver, Girls Gone Wild and others. Before singing Like Are Virgin, Madonna made a long speech about the freedom of every person on earth and spoke out in defense of the members of the punk group Pussy Riot, and while singing the song on her back, the audience saw the name of the group written in black felt-tip pen. Madonna finished her two-hour concert with the song When you call my name.
