It is necessary

  • - paints;
  • - brushes.

Instructions

Step 1

After the basic tone is applied to the doll's face, start working on the eyes. First, outline their locations, then make a sketch, only slightly pressing on the pencil, so that, if necessary, the lines can be corrected without harming the doll's face.

Step 2

Make the eyes of the toy similar to the eyes of a living person. They must contain a protein, an iris and a pupil, and in addition, the upper and lower eyelids must be marked. Draw a pupil in a round shape, but the iris on top should hide under the upper eyelid, otherwise it will seem that the eyes are wide open in surprise or horror. The lower border of the iris, as a rule, touches the lower eyelid. However, it depends on the direction of the gaze that you want to set.

Step 3

Color in the white of the eye. For greater naturalness, it is better to make its color not pure white, but with a subtle shade of blue, yellow or pink. Along the border of the upper eyelid, draw a shadow in the form of a wide strip of light gray. You get this color by mixing the paint you used to paint over the squirrel with a drop of black paint.

Step 4

Make the iris blue, blue, gray, green or brown. Divide its visible area mentally into four parts, paint over one of them in a lighter tone. This will simulate the play of light and shadow, which will give your eyes a natural look. Use a darker base color towards the upper lid. Use it to outline the outer border of the iris.

Step 5

Paint the pupil with black without any impurities. Put a small white dot on it, this will visibly revive the eyes, make them shine. Place the dot at the farthest distance from the lightened part of the iris.

Step 6

Use slightly curved lines to mark the upper eyelid. For the one that directly borders the eye, use a black or dark brown paint, this will accentuate the presence of eyelashes. For the one above it, use a dark flesh tint. Draw the lower eyelid line with thinned black or brown paint. If desired, on the upper and lower eyelids, you can add eyelashes in the form of thin strokes.
