On holidays, they often give a lot of unnecessary things that are lonely gathering dust on the shelves and do not particularly stand out from the crowd. For example, a scented candle. I have 5 such scented candles in a glass. What to do with them? The strawberry smell of a candle prompted the idea of summer, flowers. And the art of kanzashi, which is mainly used to decorate hairstyles, will just help.

Instructions
Step 1
First you need to make blanks. To do this, we take a satin ribbon (colors of your choice), although this is not important, you can use different materials, for example, old bows, organza, etc. and we make even squares (in my product the tape is 5 cm, respectively, and the squares will be 5 / 5 cm). We fold the square into a triangle, then we fold the sharp corners to a right angle (to the center), then we fold our square into a triangle, to the outside. We cut off the right angle of our triangle, about 5 mm, as well as the angle that is not fastened to each other. We solder the cut corners with an open fire (a lighter, matches, a candle, etc. (you can also use threads and a needle, instead of gluing the petals, you can sew it all together)). In order to get a petal, we unfold the hypotenuse of our triangle. Thus, we get round kanzashi petals.
Step 2
Next, we glue the petals into a flower shape (you can choose any colors and shades, I was not original and made kanzashi flowers of the same color). I use a hot glue gun for gluing. We take a petal, cover with glue the part to which we glue the next petal (the flower can also be collected with a thread and a needle). Thus, we complete the circle. In my product, I needed seven flowers. There may be more flowers and petals in yours. It's all about your imagination.
Step 3
As in the first case, first you need to make blanks, take the ribbon (in my product the ribbon was dark green) and cut into squares (I remind you that all ribbons were used in my product 5 cm). We fold the square into a triangle three times, cut off the right angle of our triangle, about 5 mm, as well as the angle that is not fastened to each other and solder the cut corners with open fire (lighter, matches, candle, etc.). Thus, we get sharp kanzashi petals. Also, the number of sharp kanzashi petals depends only on your desire (but I can admit one thing: the more flowers and leaves you make, the more fun and colorful your candle will be).
Step 4
Next, you need to prepare a candle and a saucer (make a background). The shade of the ribbon should be darker or lighter than the sharp petals so that they do not merge with the background. Turn the saucer over, cut the ribbon into stripes. Measure the length of the strips so that the tape can be glued to the inside of the saucer. We glue our candle in a glass to a saucer. To do this, pour as much hot glue as possible into the middle of the saucer (you can also use other glue), and put a candle. So that in the future our candle does not fall off, you need to press on it and hold it, let the glue dry.
Step 5
Let's start decorating our candle. We take ready-made flowers and glue them in a chaotic manner. We glue each petal so that the flowers lay tighter. Then we glue the sharp petals, also in any order. In the middle of our colors, we glue rhinestones or stones of different colors (it is better to glue the crystals to the glue, they stick to it better). When our flowers are ready, you can add a curly decor. I had multi-colored butterflies, I pasted them where there were empty spaces. If you make a little more flowers and petals, then the figured decor may not be used. I spent about 4 hours making this candle, but it was worth it. Now the candle stands on the shelf of my daughter, pleases the eye and reminds her of the "Fairy Glade".
