"Asian spikelet" is a sophisticated pattern that is used when knitting popular "Chinchilla" cardigans. It fits simply, but it looks impressive.
It is necessary
A pair of knitting needles, yarn
Instructions
Step 1
We collect 32 loops in any way. We knit two rows:
1 row - face;
2 row purl.
Step 2
We knit the first four loops from the left knitting needles. We remove the first loop on the second knitting needle as an edging (without tying). This is the first row of the seed.
Step 3
We turn knitting. The "Asian Spikelet" uses the "partial knitting" method, its second name is "rotary knitting". We only knit the four loops that we cast on the right knitting needle. In the photo, the knitting is inverted, so the loops that need to be knitted on the left. We start each row with an edge loop (we transfer the first loop to the second knitting needle without knitting it), we knit the last loop.
Step 4
We only knit four loops.
Step 5
We knit a rectangle four loops wide and 9 loops high. We start the countdown from the row in which four loops were knitted (step 2).
Step 6
The first seed is rectangular.
Step 7
We start knitting the second seed. To do this, we knit two loops from the left knitting needles.
Step 8
The right needle should have six stitches. We turn knitting over.
Step 9
We knit the second row of the second seed purl. We knit the first four loops (of six) from the left knitting needle and leave two loops (5 and 6) untied. You need to knit a rectangle with a width of 4 loops and a height of 9 loops.
Step 10
We knit two loops from the left knitting needle.
Step 11
The right needle should have eight stitches. We turn knitting over. We knit the third grain in the same way as the first and second were knitted. In this case, loops 5, 6, 7 and 8 remain untied.
Step 12
The width of the third grain is 4 loops and is 9 rows high.
Step 13
We knit two loops from the left knitting needle. There are ten loops on the right needle. We turn knitting over. We knit the fourth seed. In this case, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 loops remain untied.
We form a seed from 1/2 of the previous rectangle and two new loops. There should be four loops in total.
Step 14
We repeat steps 7-13. You should get 15 grains.
We turn knitting over. We knit two rows:
1 row. purl.
2 row. facial.
Step 15
We turn knitting over. We knit the seeds from the seamy side. To do this, repeat steps 1-13. It turns out a "reverse" row of grains. There should be 15. After all the seeds are tied, we knit two rows and close the loops. You can continue to knit the canvas.
