The idea of creating plates for young parents of two adorable kids belongs to the artist Alla Zhitikhinina. These lovely plates are made using the "reverse decoupage on glass" technique.
It is necessary
- - alcohol;
- - brushes;
- - scissors;
- - rubber roller;
- - masking tape;
- - glue for decoupage;
- - varnish (for adhesion);
- - oil-based varnish;
- - printed pictures;
- - art acrylic paints;
- - 2 pcs. glass transparent plates;
- - universal soil "Gesso";
Instructions
Step 1
Degrease the plates with alcohol, cover them with varnish for adhesion. Glue the printed image with decoupage glue.
Step 2
Glue masking tape on the back of the plate in the form of a lattice. Use a toothbrush to spray paint onto unsealed spaces.
Step 3
Paint over the back of the plate with a lighter tone. You can paint only the gaps where there is no tape.
Step 4
Peel off the tape carefully. Dilute white and pink paint (for the second plate - blue) and paint over all transparent gaps.
Step 5
Then cover the entire surface with white Gesso primer and apply several coats of varnish with intermediate sanding.
