Products with a round yoke are very attractive and can decorate any wardrobe. If you like experimenting, try knitting a round yoke. To knit a yoke with a pattern, you need a pattern, and for a simple yoke, you can do with simple calculations.
It is necessary
- - threads;
- - knitting needles;
- - yoke scheme;
- - tape measure.
Instructions
Step 1
Before starting knitting, make a yoke pattern. Measure the required distances with a measuring tape, tie the sample and determine the density of the knitting. Then calculate how many loops you need to subtract and how many parts the yoke can be divided into.
Step 2
If you need a pattern, consider its proportions when drawing up the diagram. Decreases can be made at an equal distance (for example, every four rows) or taking into account the pattern. In the second case, place a larger drawing at chest level, then make a sharp cut (ornament - stripes or small elements), then place a small drawing at shoulder level and cut again in the collar area.
Step 3
In order to knit a yoke with a jacquard pattern, use the ready-made pattern. Most often, patterns for a yoke are depicted in the form of a pyramid - divide your knitting into a specified number of parts (for example, with colored thread) and repeat the pattern on each part. Decreases and increases also do symmetrically on each part. To prevent the threads of different colors from getting tangled together, quench them in plastic bags.
Step 4
To knit a yoke with knitting needles from the bottom up, first prepare the sleeves, front and back. When these parts are ready, collect them on long circular knitting needles. To get an armhole, proceed as follows: knit front loops, transfer 10-12 loops to an additional knitting needle or pin.
Step 5
Add sleeve loops, back loops. Send the next 10-12 stitches to an extra pin or knitting needle. Next, attach the loops of the second sleeve and tie the shelf (if it consists of two parts).
Step 6
Knit the pattern according to the pattern. Decrease by knitting two loops together. Having finished knitting the yoke and collar, connect the loops collected on additional knitting needles with a knitted seam.
Step 7
Likewise, you can knit a yoke with knitting needles from top to bottom. To do this, knitting in a circle around the gate, gradually expand the knitting, adding loops according to the pattern. Once you knit to the armpits, divide the knitting into three pipes, adding 10-12 loops at the bottom of the armholes on each side. Next, knit the pieces separately.
