By combining the frames taken with the camera into one video sequence, you can, with luck, get an interesting video in the popular stop-motion style. Of course, the production of a full-fledged stop motion video is not a task for five minutes, but the process of combining static frames into a video sequence is not particularly difficult.
It is necessary
- Adobe Efter Effects program
- Photo series
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare photos for import into After Effects. To do this, collect them into one folder and rename them. File names should be sequence numbers of frames in the format 001, 002, and so on. If the frames were shot in the order in which they should be combined and retained the names that were automatically created when the file was saved in the camera's memory, you do not need to rename them. Frames must be of the same size.
Step 2
Import the frames into After Effects using the Import Multiple Files command on the File menu. In the window that opens, select the first frame in order, put a check mark in the JPEG Sequence checkbox and click the "Open" button. Click the Done button.
Step 3
Drag the imported sequence onto the timeline. This can be done by dragging the sequence from the Project palette to the Timeline palette using the mouse. Actually, that's all. The frames are connected.
