A wagon of any type is a parallelepiped structure located on a frame with several pairs of wheels. Whatever train you draw - passenger or freight - remember that the train will not travel without rails.

Instructions

Step 1

Begin your drawing by drawing construction helpers. First draw a parallelepiped on the long side. Draw several pairs of circles under it, they are located in two at the front and at the rear of the car. Start drawing, take into account the features of the type of car that you are drawing.

Step 2

Coach. Its length is longer than that of other types of wagons and is 23 meters. On the side of the box, draw thirteen windows in the form of squares. Nine of them are located in the passenger compartment, one in the conductor's compartment, one window in each of the toilets, and one in the vestibule of the rear of the carriage. Round the corners of the squares and select the rubber frame. Cut off the upper corners of the cross-section of the car with lines. Draw longitudinal lines on the roof. Select the doors at the beginning and at the tail of the car.

Step 3

Freight car. It is not as long as the passenger one, most often it has the shape of a parallelepiped, but sometimes its roof can be rounded in cross-section. Draw horizontally spaced planks that make up the carriage skin. Divide the side of the parallelepiped with vertical lines into several parts, draw wooden beams. Draw planks of the same width between them, nailed diagonally. Do not forget about the doors, they open in the same way as wardrobes. Paint the car in dirty green, red-brown, gray.

Step 4

Tank. Draw a cylinder within the box shown. Round its outlines at the bases so that half a sphere is formed on each side. At one end of the tank, draw a welded ladder, a hatch located strictly on top. For more believability, you can depict rivets or weld seams.

Step 5

Draw the chassis. Keep in mind that the average wheel diameter is a little less than a meter, keep this in mind if you are drawing people or cars next to a carriage. In addition, the undercarriage of the wheels does not have metal propulsion structures connecting adjacent wheels.

Step 6

Draw shock-traction devices, they are located at the coupling points of the cars to each other and are designed to connect individual units into a composition and shock absorption.
