You don't have to wait for Valentine's Day to remind your loved one of your feelings. The heart has been a symbol of love since ancient times. You should not immediately run to the first store you come across and look for products with the appropriate symbols. You can tie a heart at home with your own hands. We will be engaged in its manufacture.
It is necessary
- - hook (choose the size of the hook depending on the thickness of the thread from which you are going to knit)
- - threads / yarns
- - filler for the heart (cotton wool, scraps of matter)
Instructions
Step 1
Decide on the color of the heart, choose the material from which you will knit: yarn or iris. Remember, the thicker the threads, the more voluminous your heart will turn out.
Step 2
Tie the first piece. It will have 4 rows.
1st row: Cast on two chain stitches. In the second loop, work six single crochets. Check, you should have six stitches in total.
Row 2: In each of the six stitches, knit two single crochets. Thus, you should have twelve stitches.
3rd row: In each of the loops, knit one single crochet. You should have twelve stitches.
4th row: We knit in the same way as the 3rd row (in each loop, one single crochet).
Step 3
Tear off the thread. The first piece of the heart is ready.
Step 4
The back of the heart is knitted in the same way as the front (4 rows).
Step 5
Connect both parts together. Knit the heart in a circle, thus gathering it together.
Step 6
Start the heart from the second row by knitting two stitches together. Do not knit several rows to fill the heart with cotton.
Step 7
Stuff the heart with filler. And continue to decrease until there is one loop left. Tie a knot and break the thread.
Step 8
You can decorate the heart by making a face on its front side. Sew beads or beautiful buttons in place of the eyelet; a bead is also suitable for the spout. The mouth can be cut out of a red patch, preferably dense fabric (drape, leather). Look for the material you need in your patchwork bag.
Step 9
The heart is ready! It can be not just a decoration and a nice gift, but also a necessary thing for needlework, use a heart as a needle cushion.
