A real needlewoman can make almost any thing for the house. One of the pleasant and useful types of hand-made is the creation of handmade soap, because it can be made much better and healthier than the purchased one by adding oils and vitamins there, as well as giving it any shape, color and smell.

It is necessary

  • - baby soap
  • - olive oil
  • - almond oil
  • - vitamin E
  • - glycerin
  • - essential oils (any)
  • - filler (flower petals, coffee, etc.)
  • - 2 pots
  • - grater
  • - molds
  • - water.

Instructions

Step 1

Experienced soap makers prepare the base for the soap on their own, jointly purchasing raw materials in large quantities. Beginners prefer to use baby soap as a base - it is both useful and inexpensive. So start by grating a few bars of baby soap. The finer your grater, the better.

Step 2

Prepare the ingredients you are going to use in your soap. If these are flower petals, then soak them in water and leave to infuse. If you want to make a soap with a scrub effect and decide to add coffee to it, then it must be already brewed insoluble coffee.

Step 3

We put the pan in a water bath and add the base oils, about a teaspoon of each. You need to add the same amount of vitamin E, but you can pour a little more glycerin - a tablespoon. Now pour the soap shavings into the pan, add a little water and cook until the mass melts. Please note that there should be no lumps in your mass - they should completely dissolve.

Step 4

After the mass has become more or less homogeneous, you can add essential oils to the soap. You can read about the properties of essential oils and choose a composition depending on whether you want to achieve a relaxing or invigorating effect from the soap. Or you can just add the essential oil drop by drop until you like the scent.

Step 5

When the soap mass has become completely homogeneous, you can finally add flower petals and coffee. After that, the soap is poured into pre-prepared baby tins, or pudding and yogurt boxes. If you want a brighter soap, put some shavings of colored soap in each mold and only then pour the mass. Let the molds stand for several days - the soap should "ripen", and only then take it out. Your good, healthy handmade soap is ready.
