In the context of running a home garden or a business related to the production of agricultural products, a tractor can be an indispensable technical tool. Not everyone can afford to buy a new tractor, but it is quite possible for someone who has the skills of locksmithing to build such a machine with their own hands from used units.

Instructions
Step 1
Start making a homemade tractor by making a frame. Traditionally, the frame has a symmetrical rectangular shape. Select the dimensions of the frame based on the need for the layout of the main components and assemblies of the tractor on it: engine, transmission, suspension. For the manufacture of the frame, use a channel of various sizes and metal square pipes. Connect the structural elements of the frame by welding.
Step 2
Assemble the tractor chassis on the frame. Install the power plant, transmission, rear and front axles. Use, for example, a water-cooled diesel engine from a forklift truck as the power unit. Engine power must not be less than 40 hp.
Step 3
Place the transmission and PTO transfer case on the frame. Use ready-made units, for example, from the GAZ-53 car. The clutch mechanism for a homemade tractor will fit from a GAZ-52 car. To install the clutch, weld a new casing and remake the engine flywheel by cutting off the rear plane of the flywheel and punching an additional center hole.
Step 4
As a rear axle, use a ready-made axle from a Bulgarian autocar. Fasten the bridge firmly to the frame with four ladders. Connect the parts of the propeller shaft together using a bushing at the end of one part and a tip at the other. The function of the shock absorber will be performed by pneumatic tires of wheels taken from a cross-country vehicle, for example, from a GAZ-66.
Step 5
Make the tractor steering hydraulic. This will make it easier to operate the tractor. The disadvantage of such a scheme is that such control begins to work only when the engine is on.
Step 6
Provide a separate hydraulic system on the tractor for connecting the power cylinder of the linkage, which will provide lifting and lowering of removable agricultural implements. Use the power cylinder, for example, from the MTZ-80 tractor.
Step 7
Make the driver's cab a one-piece structure with a large glazing area. Provide for the side windows to open outward. It is enough to make one door - on the right side. For the manufacture of the cab frame, use square and rectangular pipes, welded into a single whole. Place the battery and toolbox under the homemade seat.
