Children like gnomes, like other small creatures, because they are like children in this, but are adults and wise. On behalf of the gnome toy, you can give the child good advice and they will not be perceived as moralizing, because they will come from a fabulous creature that has lived for a long time. Sew the gnome together with the child.
It is necessary
Scraps of different fabrics, stuffing material, thread with needles, scissors, pencil or chalk
Instructions
Step 1
Redraw the gnome's pattern onto cardboard or directly onto the fabric, remembering that different parts of the toy are cut from different fabrics. For the head and palms of the gnome, beige fabric without a pattern is suitable. For the cap and the body, which is also a shirt, it is better to take a bright printed chintz. For panties, use striped or plain dark solid color fabric. The vest can be made of fur or woolen and decorated with embroidery.
Step 2
Cut the details with sharp scissors, leaving seam allowances of about half a centimeter. Sew the back along the line indicated on the pattern with crosses. Then sew the front darts and sew the front to the back. Turn out the body of the gnome and fill the resulting part with padding polyester. Put on the separately cut and sewn dwarf pants on top. The strap can be made from a decorative ribbon or ribbon, or you can use a thin wristwatch strap.
Step 3
Connect the palms to the sleeves and sew to the body, having previously filled them with padding polyester. Sew shoes from pieces of leather or dermantine, insert cardboard insoles into the soles for stability of the toy. Fill the shoes loosely with filler and insert the gnome's legs into them, sew them neatly and discreetly with threads to match the fabric.
Step 4
Cut the gnome's head out of pink or flesh-colored fabric, stuff with padding polyester. A spout can be made from the same fabric by cutting out a circle, filling it in and forming a ball. Sew the nose on the gnome's head, and draw the eyes and mouth with a marker or embroider with thread. Sew a printed chintz cap filled with padding polyester to the gnome's head. Decorate it with a pompom or a small bell, embroider with sequins or beads.
Step 5
Connect the gnome's head to the body, firmly but imperceptibly sewing them to each other. Sew a vest from fur or wool, if you sewed it from wool, decorate it with embroidery or applique, put on a sleeveless jacket on the gnome. Make the beard and hair of the gnome toy fur or from white woolen threads. Sew a small bag for gold and hang it on the shoulder of the gnome you made, put a small coin there, because gnomes love money.
