Has the Robinson story repeated itself? Are you alone with wildlife on a desert island? Well, never mind, the tips below may help you not to hang around the island as much as the legendary Robinson Crusoe.
Instructions
Step 1
Don't lose your mind. Once stranded on a desert island by a shipwreck or an emergency plane landing, you probably really want to panic. In such a state, not only is it impossible to get out, but you can also die, for example, from hunger, attacks of wild animals. Therefore, as Carlson said in the voice of Vasily Livanov, calm, only calm.
Step 2
Contact the outside world if possible. We do not live in the age of the Robinsons, we have mobile phones, iPads, GPS navigators. If you have any of the above items and are in working order, then why not use modern technologies, especially if the island is not too far from civilization and at least some kind of communication works there?
Step 3
Assess your capabilities. If you cannot connect with the outside world through modern technology, put off these exercises for now and try to determine what you have. Do you have fresh water, food, clothing, materials from which to build a dwelling, and if so, in what quantities?
Step 4
Make a fire. Firstly, it is a source of heat, secondly, it can be used to cook food and boil water, and thirdly, a fire can be a signal for passing ships. Every pioneer knows how to make a fire, but if you have neither matches nor a lighter, then use the lenses from your glasses as a magnifying glass. By the way, the fire also scares away wild animals.
Step 5
Build a dwelling. For the first time, that is, the first few hours, you can not bother much and just place the remaining belongings in a shady place, covering it all from animals. Subsequently, when you solve the problem, at least with water, build something like a hut from the branches and leaves of the flora around you.
Step 6
Find sources of water. As you know, you cannot last long without water, so even if you have fresh water supplies, it is worth finding a stream. You can also look for some edible fruits, berries, possibly mushrooms, depending on the area. You will learn to hunt and fish later if you spend longer on the island than originally planned.
Step 7
Get attention. Place bright things on the ground, write on the sand in huge letters “SOS”, keep the fire going. All this should attract the attention of everything that passes, floats, thus, you increase the likelihood of returning to civilization as soon as possible.
