Hero biography
Black Panther's real name is T'Challa. This is the studio's first black superhero. He is the heir to an ancient royal dynasty that rules the country of Wakanda in the jungles of Africa. The hero's father became one of the most prominent rulers, securing Wakanda the title of an advanced and technologically advanced country. His main merit is the development of the valuable material vibranium, which is of extraterrestrial origin. The mercenaries chasing a powerful tool attempted a coup d'état and the king was killed as a result.
The young heir was left alone with numerous enemies who wanted to get the wealth of the country. Wakanda was under constant attack. T'Challa had to learn quickly - he became a powerful warrior and rightfully donned the Black Panther mantle that his father used to wear.
To further protect his native country, which could hardly withstand the onslaught of enemies, T'Challa went to America. Here he entered the circle of the Avengers team and became one of the most powerful superheroes.
After that, the young king was able to bring the country out of isolation and make it part of the world economy. Wakanda also found a queen - Black Panther married Ororo Monroe, a superheroine named Storm from the X-Men team. Together, the couple joined the Fantastic Four for a while.
The crisis happened when the Black Panther was attacked by Doctor Doom. The hero fell into a coma, and his younger sister Shuri wore the mantle until T'Challa recovered from his illness.

Some of these abilities are due to the action of the heart-shaped herb. As king of Wakanda, Black Panther has the exclusive right to eat this herb. It increases strength, speed, agility, enhances the senses. T'Challa later relinquishes this privilege.
