Origami is the ancient art of folding paper figures that came from the east. In order to create a beautiful little thing, you do not need scissors, glue or tape. Having mastered the origami technique, you can create using only paper sheets. You can start with a simple tulip figurine.
Instructions
Step 1
You should choose medium-weight origami paper. The main thing is that after bending, cracks do not appear on it. For figurines, it is better to use A4 xerox paper or regular colored paper sold in creative kits. Naturally, the sheet should be clean and not wrinkled.
For making a tulip, it is better to choose pink, white or yellow paper, however, any other will do. The main thing is that it is beautiful and bright.
Step 2
First, cut a square out of the selected sheet of paper. To make all sides even, it is better to first draw it using a thin pencil and a ruler. Bend the resulting square workpiece diagonally so that opposite corners are aligned. Then unfold the sheet and fold it diagonally again, this time aligning another pair of corners.
Step 3
Unfold the sheet again and fold it in half. We fold the two upper corners of the resulting rectangle inward along the diagonal folds remaining after 1 and 2 steps.
Step 4
Now fold the corners on one side of the shape towards the top. Then turn the future tulip over and do this procedure on the other side.
Step 5
As a result of the previous steps, a square should have been obtained, each side of which consists of two triangles. Take the right triangle and, like a book page, turn it over to the left. Do the same on the other side.
Step 6
Then fold the right corner so that it goes over the center fold of the shape. Wrap the left corner in the resulting pocket. In other words, you need to nest the left triangle inside the right one.
Step 7
A hole has formed at the bottom of the figure. Blow into it to add volume to the tulip. Then fold back the petal corners. The paper flower is ready!
Step 8
To make a stem for a tulip, cut a strip of colored paper and, moving diagonally, roll a thick tube out of it with your finger. Then insert the stem into the hole at the bottom of the flower.
