Step 1
Roll some balls of snow.
Pick up a small ball of snow. Compress it with squeezing movements until it is firm and even. Dip the lump in the snow. Roll the ball in front of you so that the snow sticks in layers, increasing the ball in size. Pop your snow globe periodically to make it thicker. When the ball is the right size, set it in the snow. The bottom lump is the largest.
Using the same principle, blind another two or three snow globes of different diameters. The last lump should be the smallest.
Step 2
Set the comas on top of each other. On the bottom lump, place a second lump with a smaller diameter. A small lump will go to the very top. Cover the lumps with snow at the points of attachment to each other so that your snow woman does not fall apart.
Step 3
Dress up your snowman. Instead of hands, you can insert tree branches into the middle ball. The nose of the snow woman will be a carrot captured from the house, or a bump. Make eyes out of pebbles or coals. The mouth can be drawn with charcoal or laid out with rowan berries. Tie a scarf on your head. You can emphasize the waist of the snow woman by tying a scarf like a belt. Arranging rowan berries in a random pattern over the snowballs, the snow woman will receive a decorated dress.
