In order to correctly insert the threads into the sewing machine, it is necessary to know the sequence of the thread, while distinguishing the names of the parts of the machine. If the thread is inserted incorrectly, the machine will loop, the stitching will turn out to be uneven, otherwise the thread will break altogether. Simple tips will help you avoid mistakes.
Instructions
Step 1
Start with the upper thread. To do this, place the spool of thread on the spool pin.
Step 2
From the spool, pass the thread through the upper thread guide to the upper thread tension dial. Do not pass the thread guide, it ensures that the thread enters the tension regulator at a certain angle.
Step 3
Carefully thread the thread between the tension washers, being careful to bend around the bottom of the thread.
Step 4
Pull the thread up at the thread guide hook.
Step 5
Now thread through the ear of the compensation spring.
Step 6
Thread the thread through the thread take-up eye.
Step 7
Pass the thread through both lower thread guides and thread into the eye of the needle from the long groove side. The upper thread has been threaded.
Step 8
Now thread the bobbin thread. To do this, take the bobbin case and insert the bobbin of thread into it. Hold the bobbin so that the end of the thread comes down in the opposite direction from the bevel cut in the cap and closer to the inner cheek of the bobbin.
Step 9
Pull the thread through the oblique slit towards the pressure spring and then into the small slit at the end of the spring. The pressure spring must not move while the thread is being pulled.
Step 10
Try pulling on the end of the thread to make sure the thread is threaded correctly. It should come out of the bobbin case with enough ease, while the bobbin rotates freely without touching. The bobbin thread has been threaded.
Step 11
It remains to pull the bobbin thread outward. To do this, turn the handwheel towards you while carefully holding the upper thread coming out of the eye of the needle, but do not pull it. The needle and thread will go down into the hole in the stitch plate, hook the bobbin thread and come up again. Now pull the upper thread by the end to pull the lower thread to the surface through the hole in the needle plate. The ends of both threads should protrude 1 to 2 cm. Place them under the presser foot.
