Step 1
One of the simplest options for making darts will require the most affordable materials and tools. Prepare a sheet of paper, scissors, matches, a pin with a flat head in the form of a circle, thread, glue.
Step 2
Take a regular piece of notebook paper and cut out a square about 50x50 mm in size. Fold the resulting square in half diagonally. To fix the fold line, slide your finger or a ruler across it. Now fold the square piece along the second diagonal and lock the fold again.
Step 3
Now bend the middle of each side of the square to the center, so that you end up with a solid plumage of the future dart, consisting of four triangular blades.
Step 4
Pierce the center of the square with a pin so that the point is outside, and the head of the pin is inside the plumage.
Step 5
Take four matches and put them together. You should have a dart base made up of four match pieces. Grab the head of the future dart with a loop of thread and wind several turns of thread around the matches so that the structure does not fall apart.
Step 6
On the opposite side of the composite dart shaft, insert a pre-prepared plumage between the matches so that each blade of the plumage is located between two adjacent matches, and the end of the pin protrudes beyond the front of the shaft.
Step 7
Now carefully rewind the tops of the matchstick with a thread, smearing it with glue to make the connection strong. In the same way, finally thread the front of the dart where the point is. To make the bow heavier, wind a few more turns of thread or thin copper wire around it.
Step 8
After the glue dries, smooth out the feathers. The dart is ready for battle. For a successful competition, you will need at least three to five of these shells. Make a target for such a homemade dart from a piece of foam rubber to which you can attach a target drawn on a sheet of paper with concentric circles.
