Plumage is necessary in order to stabilize the flight of the dart. It is of three types. Solid plumage is the most durable. It is made of polyester, which is heat-cured. Flexible plumage is made of layers of soft plastic, which are connected with a special glue. This is the cheapest option. Nylon plumage is somewhere in the middle between hard and soft, it is very durable, darts with it almost never break. When choosing the shape of the case, be guided first of all by your feelings. You need to take darts that suit your style of play, and you should feel comfortable throwing them.
