Do you love puppet theater? But the "troupe" can be made at home. And nothing special is needed for this - you just first need to rummage in the closet with old things. Surely there are old gloves, shreds and other trifles there. It is usually a pity to throw it away, but it is not known what to do with it. And you can make funny characters that will surely delight your child. For example, you can make a clown.

It is necessary

  • Old mittens or gloves
  • Scraps of fabric
  • pieces of foam rubber
  • leftover wool yarn
  • buttons
  • pieces of lace, satin ribbon or sewing
  • needle and thread

Instructions

Step 1

Take an old glove. Cut off the little finger and forefinger and carefully seal the hole so that the loops do not come loose.

Step 2

Cut two circles out of the fabric. Sew them with a sewing machine, leaving a hole for the index finger. Cut out a circle of foam rubber and stuff the resulting "head" with it. In the place where the finger will be inserted, make a notch in the foam rubber.

Cut a small circle out of a red or pink patch, sew it over the edge with large stitches so that you can pull it off. Cut a ball out of a piece of foam rubber, place it in the resulting mold and tighten properly. Sew on the clown's nose.

Take two identical small buttons and make the eyes. Sew your mouth with red thread.

You can make paper eyes and stick them on.

Cut two hearts out of pink fabric and make cheeks.

Take yellow or orange yarn and cut it into pieces 7-10 cm long. You don't care how they will be attached to your head, since a hat is still sewn on top. Fold each section in half and sew on the sides of the head in random order in the middle.

From a bright patch, cut a triangle to fit the size of the clown's head, stitch the inner seam, twist and fold. Sew a tassel or small bell on the hat.

Step 3

Sew the "head" to the "torso" with a blind stitch, but firmly.

Cut out two pink circles and pull them off just like you did with your nose. Fill them with foam, tighten and sew to the thumb and forefinger of the glove. Make cuffs with lace or sewing.
