It's more fun to fish without a fishing rod
Anyone can catch fish with good expensive tackle and special bait, but this is partly boring, but otherwise not reckless. Those who at least once caught prey from the water without the help of a fishing rod, practically with their bare hands, excitedly tell their friends how fun it was.

Fish in the pit
On the shore of a pond, lake or river, you need to dig a hole and connect it to the main body of water with a moat. Put bread and whatever you find in your bait backpack into the artificial puddle. In theory, a hungry fish should itself swim into the pit for food. When the prey is distracted by food, the channel must be closed. The partition can be a stone or any other object of a suitable size. From the shallow hole, the fish can be reached by hand.
Plastic bottle
Without drinking water, rarely anyone goes on a hike; it is easier to carry plastic bottles than metal cans. Take an empty large (2.5-5 l) bottle, cut off the neck from it. Put this container with the bait in it in the pond with the open side to the current. To prevent the bottle from being carried away by the water, put something small but heavy inside. The fish will swim inside the trap for the bait, but it will not be able to get back out, since it will not be able to turn around. You just have to get a bottle of caught fish.
Spear or spear - a primitive weapon for successful fishing
A primitive spear can be made on the spot - on the shore of a reservoir, it is enough just to cut one end of the trunk of a thin tree. It is better to make this tip four-sided, the fish can break off the round tip. With your improvised prison, you need to go into the reservoir and scatter bait (bread or porridge) around you. Now it remains to stand and wait for the appearance of the fish. Of course, the art of catching with a spear is not so easy to master, but you will be proud of the result.
With bare hands
Some lucky fishermen are so lucky that they, sometimes quite by accident, fish with their bare hands. If the reservoir is rich in prey, you can catch it just by swimming. You shouldn't seriously count on this method, but you can try. The silt raised from the bottom will help in this case, it will make the hunter's legs invisible and the fish will lose caution.
