Instructions
Step 1
Find good materials. Please note that only polymer clay of a good company is suitable for such a miniature modeling, for example, Fimo pappen. In addition, buy tools, it is best to choose dental tools for fine cutting and sculpting.
Step 2
Start sculpting the baby's torso (it should be about 2 times the size of the head), for this, blind an oval, slightly thicker towards the ass. Then mold a sausage for the thighs, cut it in half (not completely) and stick it at an angle to the body. Gently smooth out the joint and use a scalpel to shape the butt. You have a blank: torso and hips.
Step 3
To make the legs and feet, roll out the sausage again (thinner than the thighs) and cut it in half. Bend each half to a 90º angle and cut one half to create a foot. Flatten this side and round it gently, making one leg right and the other left. Use a scalpel to cut the fingers, then smooth each one so that it becomes rounded. Make a dimple inside the foot to complement the look. Place the finished legs on your knees and smooth the joint.
Step 4
In the same way as the legs, blind the handles. The only difference is that they can be sculpted not from two parts, but from one sausage, simply by bending it at the elbow. Sculpt your fingers separately or squeeze the baby's handle into a fist, depending on your desire.
Step 5
Start sculpting the head. To do this, roll a ball half the size of the body and place it on a stick for easy sculpting. First mark the line of the eyes, roughly in the middle of the head. Then take a small piece of clay and stick it in place of the nose. Make a dimple in place of the mouth. Blend everything so that the face becomes one whole.
Step 6
Stick two round pieces of clay in place of the cheeks, remember that babies have round cheeks. Roll out a thin strip and place it over the eyes, these will be the brow ridges. Gently blend and smooth your face.
Step 7
Stick two small balls inside the eyes, the eyes should be slightly protruding. Take a larger ball and shape your lips, do not be alarmed if at first they are too bulging. Remove all unnecessary things with a scaler, as a result, the baby's face will look like the real one.
Step 8
Complement the head with small ears, shape the cheekbones and fit it to the torso using the neck.
Step 9
When you are happy with the result, place the clay doll in the oven and bake according to the instructions.
