Baubles are a kind of talisman. The material for them can be different - from beads and floss, to silk ribbons and ordinary threads. These jewelry can be personalized - they can have a full name or only a monogram.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to make a personalized thread bracelet. Take a floss or fine woolen yarn in several shades - one for the background, the other for the letters. It is better to study with woolen threads, because the knots will creep less. The length of the thread should be four times the volume of the finished bracelet. Choose the width as you wish, the number of threads is arbitrary.
Step 2
Tie them into a knot and secure to the surface. Take a piece of cardboard, plywood, or a small pillow. Choose a base, preferably longer than the others, and start making knots - first on the nearest thread, then on the next. The row will look like a strip of identical knots.
Step 3
Then take the next extreme thread, repeat the procedure. In the next row, make the knots in the reverse order - they will lie flat, alternate two rows to the desired length. Go to weaving letters, change the direction of the knots.
Step 4
For example, weave a few pieces to the left with the main thread, then (depending on the size of the letter) to the right, end the row with knots to the left. Adjust the quantity yourself, if you decide to weave a word, leave empty passages between the letters. Take as a basis the scheme of letters drawn with dots (these will be knots).
Step 5
It is more difficult to weave beaded baubles. In work, you can use round, faceted, cylindrical glass beads, select and combine colors and shapes. Use ready-made weaving patterns or try to come up with your own - then the thing will definitely be exclusive. A self-made talisman is much more pleasant than a purchased one, especially when you consider the main, symbolic purpose of the baubles.
