Corrugated cardboard makes excellent simple and voluminous crafts. Try to make flowers from this material. To do this, you can apply a variety of methods and techniques for creating flowers.
Even children can create flowers from corrugated cardboard, but for this you need to have desire, patience and perseverance to make the flowers beautiful. To complete the work, you will need corrugated cardboard, corrugated paper, glue, wooden skewers and scissors.
How to make a simple corrugated flower
Start from the middle of the flower. To do this, take two small strips of different colors, for example, yellow and orange, no more than 1 cm wide and twist them together. Do this so that the edges of the cardboard are on the outside, not inside. You need to twist it quite tightly so that a hole does not form in the middle. Glue the ends of the strips that remain to each other. After the glue dries well, gently squeeze the spiral of the middle of the flower up with your fingers.
Now from a small strip of green make the same "tablet" and glue it to the bottom of the finished part.
Next, you need to make petals, there should be 7 of them. Take a strip of a suitable color and twist. Fix the end of the strip with glue. To make the petal look more like a real one, pull out one edge of it a little and give it a pointed shape. At the same time, hold the spiral so that it does not bloom. The petals also need to be made voluminous. This is done in the same way as in the middle of the flower. To prevent the volume from falling, glue the petals from below with thin lines.
Now you can collect the flower. On the sides of the center, apply a little glue and stick the petals there. Hold them until they hold on on their own.
It remains to make the stem. To do this, wrap a wooden skewer in green corrugated paper and attach it to the flower with glue.
How to make a corrugated board sunflower
For a sunflower, you will need 17 petals, which need to be cut out according to a pattern of 1, 7x3, 5 cm in size. Then, twist the middle of the sunflower from two strips of yellow and brown color 0.5 cm wide. Glue the edges of the strips to each other. Then press lightly on the spiral to add volume, and fix the center of the flower with glue.
Now you need to make a stem, for which a wooden skewer or a small stick works well. It must be wrapped in green corrugated paper. Cut out a circle with a diameter of 4 cm from ordinary cardboard and glue the stem of the sunflower to its middle. Glue the petals around the entire circumference of the cardboard so that each new row shifts slightly. Attach the middle in the center. It remains to make the leaves. To do this, you need to form loops of different sizes from small strips of green and glue them to the stem. Corrugated sunflower is ready!
