When decorating halls for many festive events, original volumetric figures and compositions of colorful balloons filled with light gas are often used. One of these compositions is a balloon fountain, which you can make with your own hands.
When organizing anniversaries, weddings and other festive events, great attention is paid to the decoration of the hall. For this purpose, posters, textiles, compositions of artificial and natural flowers and balloons are used. It is not difficult to make various volumetric figures from balloons with your own hands - flowers, hearts, vases and even fountains.
What is a Balloon Fountain
The balloon fountain is an original composition reminiscent of water jets rushing upwards, like in a real fountain. It is a fairly frequently used part of aerodesign and is usually placed in the center of the entire composition. Recently, balloons have been increasingly used by professional designers in their work, but this does not mean at all that it is impossible to create a fountain of balloons with your own hands.
The services of a professional aerodesigner are quite expensive and not affordable for everyone. Of course, a professional can make a unique composition, but a do-it-yourself "fountain" can decorate any hall, including those intended for a wedding. It is not difficult to make such a voluminous figure yourself.
Making a fountain of balloons: everything is simple and beautiful
Folk wisdom says that even if the eyes are afraid, the hands still do it. This can be fully attributed to our composition, which we will try to make simple, but original and interesting. To work, we need balloons of different sizes and colors, a small helium bottle, fixing adhesive tapes, as well as a soft wire or thin but strong twine to connect the elements of the composition.
First, let's prepare the burden so that the future fountain does not move around the room at its discretion. You should not use wooden bars for this purpose, and even more so weights and dumbbells - let the ball also serve as a burden, only filled not with light gas or air, but with water. This "water" ball will hold the composition in place no worse than a 16-kg kettlebell, with which athletes train before a powerlifting competition.
Now each of the balls needs to be prepared. Gently inflate the balloons with air, keep them in this position for several minutes, then release the air and fill them with helium. Here it is worth making sure that the balls "revived" suddenly do not scatter throughout the room. Having prepared the material, you can start assembling the composition.
Our main task is to achieve a feeling of lightness, swiftness, to create an impression similar to the one that occurs when we look at a real fountain. This means that the whole composition should strive upward, and in it it is necessary to provide for a kind of "branches", symbolizing splashes of water. We form the composition, fastening all the assembled elements on the central twine. It is advisable to select the color of the balls and arrange elements of different colors so that there is no impression of chaos and disorder. Colored ribbons can be used as a useful addition.
