Everyone loves to receive gifts, and it is doubly pleasant when they are presented in bright, festive packaging - the necessary feeling of joy and anticipation of emotions from a surprise is created. You can build a gift wrapping box yourself.
It is necessary
- - a sheet of soft cardboard of the required size;
- - wrapping paper;
- - scissors;
- - glue;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - stapler.
Instructions
Step 1
Place your gift in the middle of the cardboard sheet and determine the size of the bottom - draw a square of the desired size. If there is not enough room on the sides for the sides of the box, then replace the sheet of cardboard with a larger one. Position the square so that there is more room on one side - this is where you will form the lid of the box.
Step 2
From each corner of your resulting square (the bottom of the box), draw straight lines connecting them to the ends of the cardboard sheet. Along these lines, you will cut the cardboard to form the sides of the box.
Step 3
Cut a piece of cardboard along diagonal lines. Bend the resulting triangular parts by raising the side sides of the box. Fold the sheet along the lines of the bottom of the box, that is, the square that you drew according to the size of the gift. The triangles can be cut or simply bent so that they do not interfere - for this, coat the sides with glue and fix the sides. Staple the triangles additionally to ensure that the box is securely held in place.
Step 4
Make a lid - along the pre-drawn lines (stocks for folds), fold the cardboard and close the box. You will need scissors to trim the edges a little and remove excess paper. The box is ready.
Step 5
Bend all the edges of the box well to keep the structure stable. If you decide to use a wrapper, just wrap the gift and wrap the box with brightly colored paper. To paint the box, you will need the brightest and most vibrant colors - you can use felt-tip pens or paints. Decorate each side of the box, wait for it to dry, and turn your piece over to paint on the next side. You don't have to paint the bottom of the box, it is unlikely that a person will pay attention to it (although children love to twirl surprises in their hands). Tie the box with a satin ribbon and tie it in a pretty knot that you can quickly undo.
