If you love lilies and want your favorite flowers to delight the eye for a long time, you can fold the paper lily using the origami technique. Such a lily can become an unusual decoration for your interior, for a gift or a surprise for friends, as well as paper lilies can decorate a festive table, making it truly beautiful. To create such a lily, you need colored paper and scissors. Unlike most origami figures, which are made up of a regular square, a lily is made up of a pre-prepared pentagon.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a sheet of colored paper and, having previously outlined the necessary lines, cut out an even pentagon from the paper, placing it with the colored side up.

Step 2

Your pentagon will be visually divided into five triangles. Each of them must be folded in half with a "mountain" fold, aligning adjacent corners. The fold line will cut each corner exactly in half.

Step 3

Along the marked folds, fold the pentagon into a shape that resembles a volumetric rhombus. The drop-down corner should be at the bottom and the solid corner should be at the top.

Step 4

Fold the sides of the front to the center line, dividing the corners on either side of the center fold in half. Open the pocket and flatten it by folding the corners to the center fold.

Step 5

Repeat the same steps with the second side of the figure, and then fold the remaining corners into the pockets, having previously straightened them. Bend the corners along the finished fold lines. Bend the sides of the figure in half away from you.

Step 6

Then apply the above steps to all the remaining intact sides of the shape. The unpaired side must be folded according to the same principle as the paired side - it will also form petals. Fix the position of the petals.

Step 7

After that, turn the figurine upside down and open the petals, spreading them to the sides. Your lily is ready - you can fold a flower of any size and color to form beautiful compositions.
