It is necessary

  • -canvas;
  • -color printer;
  • -spray;
  • -knife;
  • - varnish.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need an appropriate canvas, suitable for printing on it, as well as a color printer such as EPSON. The printer can be purchased at any store with household appliances, but for canvases you need to go to photo printing stores. A linen canvas from Lomond will do. Required canvas size - A4.

Step 2

Print a stack of canvases before printing. Straighten the sheets and store them under a press, otherwise the sheet will warp and the printer head will jam in some parts of the drawing. Just before loading the sheet into the printer, spray it from the back with a spray bottle so that it is slightly moistened and does not collect in separate places.

Step 3

Choose a suitable photo for printing. Please note that its weight must be sufficient for an A4 printout. Otherwise, the picture will not be clear and broken into pixels. Then set the printer for color printing, for better results on the printer it is better to set the setting for "high resolution paper". For EPSON printers, it is best to indicate that the inserted paper is Epson Heviweight Matte. The minimum resolution worth choosing is 1440, but much better is 2880.

Step 4

If you want to make a drawing that exceeds the size of the sheet format, you should do the following: print with an overlap of one centimeter (that is, each fragment should repeat one centimeter of the already printed fragment), then glue the sheets to the cardboard with an overlap, aligning the drawing. At the junction of the picture, cut off the extra piece of canvas with a sharp paper knife. Glue the fragment.

Step 5

Cover the resulting work with a special gel or varnish that enhances the likeness of the photo to the painting. Such items can be purchased at art stores that sell art paper. Note that gel adds texture to the painting better than varnish.
