Having a sewing machine, you can embody a wide variety of ideas and fantasies in life, sew and repair clothing and interior items, create accessories, and much more - but sewing on a machine is possible only if it is equipped with all the necessary details, and if you know how install them correctly. Before you start sewing anything, you need to thread not only the upper thread, but also the lower thread into the sewing machine, which is wound around the bobbin.
Instructions
Step 1
It is very easy to insert the bobbin into the sewing machine. To get started, thread the upper thread into the machine - take a spool of thread of the desired color and put it on the rod. Pass the end of the thread through the thread guide and between the thread tension plates.
Step 2
Then pass the thread through the thread take-up hole. After passing the thread through the last loop, loosen it and cut off the end at an angle with sharp scissors. Then, gently feed the end of the thread into the eye of the sewing needle from the side of the outer long groove. On the opposite side of the needle, pull the thread out and bring it to the back under the presser foot.
Step 3
Now is the time to thread the bobbin thread. Take a bobbin and wind the thread around it by hand, or using a mechanical winder. Hold the bobbin so that the tip of the thread is directed in a circle from left to right, and in this position, insert it into the bobbin case.
Step 4
The direction of the bobbin thread must match the direction of the notch in the bobbin case. Pull the end of the thread out of the slot, and then take the cap and insert it into the desired location on the bottom of the sewing machine. If you hear a click, the bobbin is installed correctly.
Step 5
Turn the handwheel towards you several times while holding the tip of the upper thread. After the needle has lowered and raised once, pull the end of the upper thread and pull the end of the lower thread out of the bobbin with it. Pull both threads to the back and place them under the presser foot.
