Often knitted fabric of a round shape is crocheted - this is how graceful openwork napkins and capes are made. However, you can knit a circle and quite easily. With careful execution, such needlework looks very interesting. The knitted circle can be used both separately (for panels, interior stands for vases, etc.), and as part of a large product.

It is necessary

  • - Four stocking needles;
  • - Woolen thread;
  • - Hook.

Instructions

Step 1

Cast on two stitches on four stocking needles. You should have eight stitches in total. To knit a circle with knitting needles, you need to make circular rows, as when knitting mittens and socks. You will round off the work by adding knitting, knitting two from one front loop at once.

Step 2

Knit the first circular row, grabbing the thread with a working knitting needle while knitting.

Step 3

Next, knit a round fabric in the following sequence: - in the second circular row, make one addition from each loop;

- knit the next three rows with front loops;

- in the sixth circular row, knit each loop twice again;

- seventh, eighth and eleventh row - do the front ones;

- repeat the additions in the twelfth row, and from the thirteenth to the nineteenth - face loops.

Step 4

Continue knitting in a circle, alternating five knit circular rows with one next to the additions. Now you must first knit every fifth knitting needle twice, then every sixth.

Step 5

Close the hinges. To do this, remove the first work loop, and knit the next one with the front one. Grab the removed loop with the left knitting needle and stretch it slightly, pull the knit through it. You can close the knitting with a crochet hook to prevent the thread from slipping off the knitting needle. When you knit a circle, pull the thread through the last loop and pull it tight.

Step 6

Cutting off a small "tail", carefully take it to the wrong side of the product and crochet it through the tops of several loops - the thread will not be noticeable.
