The raglan sleeve features two symmetrically angled armholes that create a wedge-shaped top. Its top is part of the neck. Carefully crafted garments with these cut details look more professional and provide good freedom of movement. The main task of the knitter is to accurately calculate the beveled lines of the sleeves. They should correspond to the same armholes on the front and back of the product.

Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting raglan sleeves from the front and back of the cut. Work the main fabric in straight and back rows until you reach the beginning of the bevel of the armholes.
Step 2
Divide all loops into 3 sections: a smaller central one (this is the front or back of the neck); 2 edges of the same size for the raglan line.
Step 3
Close the loops for the armhole on the main product, then you will be guided by the finished bevel line and subtract the corresponding sections of the fabric on the sleeves. Practice knitting raglan with a specific example. So, for a size 48 pullover, it is enough to dial 106 initial loops on straight knitting needles (No. 3, 5).
Step 4
Start work with the elastic of the front (1 front - 1 purl), after 3 cm from the typesetting edge, go to the hosiery (in the front rows, the front ones are performed, from the inside of the clothes - only the purl ones). Tie a canvas 35-40 cm high.
Step 5
Start shaping the raglan bevels. To do this, close the hinges symmetrically from opposite edges of the work. At the beginning of the row (right armhole), remove the hem, knit 2 front loops; knit the next pair of loops together with a tilt to the left. To do this, remove the thread bow from the left knitting needle, untied, like this front one; knit the next knit and pull it through the delayed loop.
Step 6
When there are 5 loops left to the end of the row (hem and 4 knit), knit the third and fourth loops from the edge. So you have to subtract from both sides of the canvas for the raglan bevels: first, 5 loops each; through a row - 2. After that, sequentially take out of work in all even rows along the loop.
Step 7
Instead of the initial 106 stitches, there should be 32 stitches on the working needle. Set the open stitches on the auxiliary needle.
Step 8
In the image of the front, follow the back of the pullover, then start knitting the sleeves. Cast on the loops for the cuffs (in the given example there are 52 of them), knit several rows of 1x1 elastic band and go to the front stitch.
Step 9
To make the lower part of the sleeve wedge-shaped, gradually expand the fabric to the left and right. To do this, make increments: knit from the transverse thread between the first and second loops of the row along an additional loop. Do this 6 times in every sixth row, then 15 times in every fourth row. As a result, instead of the initial 52 loops on the spoke, there will be 94.
Step 10
Start your raglan line. Close matching loops following the pattern of the finished front and back of the pullover. When the armholes on all the details match, in the last row of the sleeves, remove the finishing loops (here - 20 pieces) and set aside. Make another sleeve in the pattern, but as if in a mirror image.
Step 11
Fold over all parts of the pullover and sew connecting seams. Then take circular knitting needles the same size as your main tool. String on them all the pending loops of the product: 32 from the back, 20 from the sleeve, 32 from the front and 20 more loops from the sleeve. There are 104 loops on the line in total.
Step 12
Tie the collar of the pullover with an elastic band. To connect the loops of adjacent parts, knit all adjacent bows together. As a result, the circular canvas should decrease by 4 loops. When the collar reaches the desired height, take a straight knitting needle number 4 in your right hand and use it to close the last row.
