Step 1
Before you start knitting the sleeves from top to bottom, sew the back and the shelf together along the side and shoulder seams. Then cast on the center of the shoulder 10-20 loops (depending on the sleeve size and knitting density) and continue knitting. Do not forget to knit one edge loop at the end of the rows on each side of the armhole

In the process of knitting, add or subtract loops depending on the result you get. Try on the garment constantly to make sure the sleeves fit the model.

After reaching the end of the armhole, knit straight or go to circular knit to avoid a seam.

In order to knit in the traditional way, from bottom to top, make a sleeve pattern on paper and count the number of loops in the narrowest and widest parts, and also determine the number of rows

If the sleeve tapers towards the bottom, determine the difference between the narrow and wide part of the sleeve and divide it by the number of rows. Then calculate how many stitches will need to be added over how many rows to get a uniform expansion.
Step 6
Always add loops at the end or beginning of the row. Mark each added loop with a colored thread so as not to get lost, these marks will come in handy for knitting the second sleeve.
Step 7
To knit an okat sleeve, divide the number of loops in the wide part into 3 equal parts, for example, 54 loops / 3 = 18 loops. If you have a remainder, then add it to the first part.

Divide each part into groups in this way: divide the loops of the first part into several triples and twos (3 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 17), with threes first, and then twos. If there is a remainder, add it to the first digit (3 + 1 = 4).
Step 9
Divide the loops of the second group into units, and the loops of the third part into threes (3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 18). If you have a remainder, add it to the first digit from the high point of the okat. Apply all results to the pattern.
Step 10
Start knitting okata. In the first row, fasten four loops, then knit to the end. Unfold and reattach 4 loops. Continue knitting this way, cutting the loops as calculated at the beginning of each row.
