It turns out that jeans are not just pants. With the help of our imagination and improvised means, the trousers turn … into a fashionable sundress!
It is necessary
- -jeans
- -scissors
- -sewing machine
Instructions
Step 1
Determine the length of the future sundress plus 2 cm for the hem. We measure the resulting size on jeans and cut it off. We unpick the step seam.
Step 2
Exactly lay out the resulting skirt. We cut it off with needles in some places. Since our skirt should not turn out to be narrow, then in front and behind it will need to be inserted along the triangle, which we cut out from the pants of the jeans. The rear triangle should be slightly larger than the front.
Step 3
Next, we sew everything on a typewriter. We fold the bottom of the skirt, hem and sew on a typewriter.
Step 4
Now you need to cut 6 identical strips from the leg of the jeans. We braid 2 pigtails of them and attach them to our skirt. Moreover, behind the stripes are attached next to each other. Thus, the straps will better hold on the shoulders when worn.
Step 5
Now you need to sew a bow. Cut out a rectangle of about 15 cm by 20 cm, fold it with the front side inward, sew it, leaving a small hole, turn it out, sew the hole with a blind stitch. We collect in the center and sew to the straps.
