Films for children are designed to teach a child about good deeds, actions, the fight against evil, etc. Unlike films intended for adults (over 18 years old), they do not contain vulgar and violent murder scenes. It is important that the child learns himself to watch a good movie, because it strongly affects the formation of him as a person.
Cartoons for the little ones
Even the smallest children are often drawn to the TV, especially if there is an older child in the family who constantly watches it, or if the parents themselves are not averse to spending the evening in front of the screen.
When to give a child the first movie, everyone decides for himself, but it is better if he watches stories suitable for his age than adult series or different talk shows.
Children under 3 years old are better off watching cartoons, because they are easier to digest and the emphasis is on pictures rather than words. And at this age, the child perceives faster what he sees. There are special tutorials that are suitable for viewing almost from birth. This is "I can do anything!" - scenes from the life of children are shown there to the accompaniment of pleasant classical music, “Baby Einstein” - for little geniuses, “Tiny Love” - 3 funny animals (a lamb, a dog and a cow) teach the baby the first knowledge. All of them go up to 2-3 years of age, contain elementary skills and abilities.
At this age, it will be interesting for a child to watch ordinary cartoons, maybe Soviet ones: "Antoshka", "Umka", "Mom for a mammoth", "Red, freckled" and others.
Older kids (from 3 years old) can develop with the help of: "ABVGDeyki", "Lessons from Aunt Owl", "Families for some reason", etc. Simple cartoons will also captivate them, they can be supplemented with "Just wait", and "Tom and Jerry", and "Masha and the Bear", etc. You can watch short stories: "Frost", "Cinderella", etc. It all depends on the child's perseverance - some can sit quietly for half an hour, while others can sit for 5-10 minutes and that's it. It should be borne in mind that you should not strain children's eyes by watching TV for a long time.
How to choose an interesting film for a child
In order for a child to watch films with pleasure, they must be selected based on his interests. By the age of 3, the baby can already highlight what he really likes best. If he is interested in animals and birds, then a lot of films about this are shown on the BBC channel. They tell in simple and understandable language about the inhabitants of our planet.
Perhaps the child listens very attentively to fairy tales about princesses, then he will also probably fall in love with their screen versions.
Cartoons based on Chukovsky's tales (Aibolit, Moidodyr, Mukha-Tsokotukha, etc.), based on Pushkin's tales (The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish, The Tale of the Golden Cockerel, etc.) are also perceived by children. OK.
When preparing for school, plots from school life are suitable: "First grader", "Scarecrow", etc. Many children of this age like the old Soviet films about children "The Adventure of Electronics", "The Adventure of Alice", "The Wizard of the Emerald City", "Buratino", etc.
Older children can be offered the usual comedy films: "The Diamond Arm", "Operation Y", "Home Alone", "Baby on a Walk", etc. The main thing is to check that these plots do not contain anything prohibitive for the child.
It would be nice to instill in the child a love for films about the war: "The dawns here are quiet", "Only old men go to battle", etc. So that he has respect for the heroes and at least some kind of memory of it.
In general, try to get your child to watch films with different themes for a diversified development. The main thing is that they do not contain violent scenes of violence.
