There are many ways to fish, and not all of them are sporty. Fishing with a spinning rod is certainly fun, but fishing with gear such as nets or seine is much more effective. The main thing here is to exactly comply with the legislation, having previously taken care of the availability of an appropriate permit for this method of fishing. And if you are lucky, then you, like an old man from a famous fairy tale, will become the owner of your Golden Fish.

Step 1
Choose a place to cast your nets. Pre-study the depth and topography of the river bed. Check if the place where you intend to fish is cluttered. If the bottom is gently sloping and non-viscous, then in some cases, you can throw the tackle without a boat, dressing up in high wading boots or a rubber suit. In other cases, you will need an inflatable rubber or wooden boat.
Step 2
Prepare your fishing gear. For casting, you will need a moving net (seine), which consists of a net, drives and wings connected to each other. The size of the mesh can be different, it depends on the fishing conditions, the qualifications of the fishermen and on the type of fish for which the tackle is made.
Step 3
Drive a stake with a lasso into the shore. Place the net in a special bay at the bottom of the boat. Having set off on a boat from the shore, gradually throw out the seine, trying to do it first against the current, and then across the river. When you reach the middle of the river, turn with the stream and come to the same bank.
Step 4
Now, with the help of a partner or even a group of fishermen, start pulling the net by the lasso to which it is attached, and then by the wings. Remove the fish caught in this way from the motny using a large net or boat hook. In the old days, fish was put in a special boat (rybnitsa), now it is convenient to use for this, for example, a large plastic bag.
Step 5
In the winter method of fishing with a net, first punch a large oblong hole in the ice surface. At a distance from it, make a series of small holes, placing them in the form of an oblong oval. Lower the net into a large hole, and then use a hook and long wooden poles to pass the rope under the ice, on which the net is planted.
Step 6
At the point where both wings of the seine should converge, make another large hole through which draw the net (seine) with the catch. If, of course, fishing happiness will smile at you.
