The bass guitar can be tuned manually or using modern technology. Consider the option with a tuner.
It is necessary
- - four string bass guitar
- - cable with outputs "jack" and "minijack" (if the inputs are of only one type, then the corresponding adapters)
- - tuner
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the bass guitar to the included tuner with a cable. Pull the thinnest string (first) in the "open" (unclamped) state. The display should show the letter "G" (large octave G note). If the letters F #, F, E or lower are displayed, twist the peg on which the string is screwed. Pull the string constantly so that the sound does not fade away. Twist slowly so as not to overtighten.
Step 2
If the note is higher (G #, A, A #), loosen the string a little more than necessary and then tug as described above.
When the correct letter appears on the display, move to the next string.
Step 3
When playing on the second string, the display should show the letter D (large octave D). If a lower note is shown (C, C #), pull up, as in the first step. If it is higher (D #, E), lower it and then raise it again.
Step 4
Similarly, tune the third and fourth strings for A contractava (A) and E contractava (E), respectively.
Step 5
So, the standard tuning of a four-string bass guitar is:
- large octave salt;
- big octave re;
- for a contract;
- mi contracts.
Check all the strings again. Now you can play.
