Adobe Photoshop documents that store information about the project (the location of the layers, the coordinates of the curves, the number of contours, etc.) have the PSD (Photoshop Document) extension. Step 1
Launch Adobe Photoshop and click the File menu item and then Open (or press Ctrl + O), find the required psd file (aka psd frame) and click Open. In a similar way, open the photo you want to frame. There are now two documents in the program.
Step 2
Activate the document with the photo, select the "Move" tool (hot key V), hold down the left mouse button on the image and use drag-n-drop (dragging) to drag the photo onto the document with a frame. If both documents are tabbed open, drag the photo to the tab first, wait a few moments for the document to open, and continue dragging. After moving, release the left mouse button.
Step 3
On the document with a frame, another layer will appear, which will be on top of the others (if there are several of them) - the photo that you will insert. Its dimensions may not fit, so use the Ctrl + T hotkeys to invoke the free transform command. Markers will appear at the corners and sides of the photo - small transparent squares. Hold Shift (to maintain the proportions of the image) and the right mouse button on some corner handle and resize the photo to fit the frame.
Step 4
Now go to the "Layers" panel (if the panel is missing, press F7) and move the layer with the photo below the layer with the frame. If you have correctly sized the photo, its edges should disappear behind the frame. If not, press Ctrl + T again and fix it.
Step 5
If you want to save the result, click the "File" menu item, then "Save As" (or use the shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + S), specify the path for the future image, write a name, set the Jpeg format in the "Files of type" field and click "Save".
