Apple iPhone manufacturers prohibit free ringtone downloads for owners of these phones. In order to diversify the standard ringtones, you can either buy them from the manufacturer, or download them yourself using iTunes and iRinger programs.
It is necessary
- - Apple iPhone phone;
- - stationary computer with installed iTunes and iRinger programs for Windows XP;
- - USB cable.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch the iRinger program and click on the Import button, the icon of which looks like a lightning bolt in the program interface. In the dialog box that opens, respect the path to the folder in which your music files in MP3, WAV, etc. are located. After selecting the desired multimedia track, click on the "Open" button located in the lower right corner of the open window. After opening the file, it will take time for the track to be converted into an iPhone-friendly format.
Step 2
Click on the Export button, which is indicated in the program by the icon representing the notes. In the dialog that appears, click on the Go! Button. On your computer, a directory named "iPhone Ringtones" will be created by default in the "My Documents" folder. All ringtones for iPhone created by you (using the iRinger program) will be placed in this directory. When the ringtone creation process is complete, the following message will appear on the screen: “The ringtons… has been created! This rington has been added to iTunes as well. Please check iTunes to make sure it was added."
Step 3
Launch iTunes. In the window that appears, in the "Media Library" menu (on the left), select the "Ringtones" item. Go to the File menu and select the Add Folder to Library tab. In the dialog box that appears, specify the path to the iPhone Ringtones directory created in the previous step. Confirm your choice by clicking on the Ok button. The tracks that were in the ringtone folder will appear in the right corner of the program.
Step 4
Select your phone's name from the Devices menu. In the submenu (on the right), check the box next to the "Synchronize ringtones". Put a dot in front of the "All ringtones" block and click the "Synchronize" button.
Step 5
Open the "Sounds" tab in the "Settings" menu of your phone, select "Call". A list with downloaded ringtones has appeared in front of you. From it you can select the track you need for the call.
