If at a picnic or on a hike it turns out that there are not enough glasses for everyone, do not rush to take turns sipping from the bottle. A reusable cup can be folded from a sheet of paper in 15 seconds.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a sheet of A4 or larger. Printer paper is ideal. The thinner one will quickly deteriorate, and the denser one will bend poorly.
Step 2
Cut a square out of the sheet. Fold it alternately along both diagonals, then unfold. Position the square so that the two opposite corners point to the right and left. Along the already marked fold, fold the figure in half, placing the lower half on the upper one.
Step 3
Take the right corner of the resulting triangle. Attach its vertex to the left edge of the workpiece and iron the fold. Bend the right corner in the same way, but on the opposite side, turning the workpiece over with the wrong side towards you.
Step 4
Tuck the remaining untreated upper parts into the resulting pockets of the newly folded triangles. Unfold the cup by pressing on the sides and gently pushing in the bottom.
Step 5
To make a rectangular paper cup, you will need a whole A5 or A4 sheet. Fold it in half lengthwise. Unfold and fold in half across. Bend the rectangle to the right of the central axis in half so that its side coincides with this axis. Spread out the right side of the paper and do the same manipulations on the left.
Step 6
Lift the lower right corner of the workpiece up to the left and align the side of the resulting triangle with the nearest fold line. Fold the lower left corner as well.
Step 7
Bend the upper part of the sheet, which is adjacent to the table surface, away from you, without turning the workpiece over. The width of the folded strip should be 3-5 cm.
Step 8
Fold the sides of the workpiece towards the center along the already marked lines. Lower the remaining untouched top strip. Spread the cup by pressing the sides.
