Such a homemade postcard will be a nice addition to the gift. It is important to note that its design is universal and suitable for congratulations on almost any holiday, including from March 8, February 23, birthday.
To make such a postcard with your own hands, you will need: a little colored paper (if you wish, also a newspaper or a piece of a geographic map, paper for scrapbooking is also suitable), a narrow green satin ribbon, scraps of colored fabric, thin thick cardboard for the base, threads, glue.
Operating procedure:
1. Cut out the base of the card from the cardboard. It can be of any size, it all depends on the number of flowers that will be placed on top.
2. For each flower, cut out circles of colored paper and fabric. The size of the circles should be different to give the impression of three-dimensional flowers.
By the way, when creating a postcard, it is not necessary to use fabric if you have paper with different original patterns.
3. Mark with a pencil the location of the flowers on the card.
4. Glue pieces of satin ribbon to represent the flower stems and small pieces of ribbon to simulate leaves. Please note that the tips of the leaves adjacent to the stem must be glued under the stem.
5. Place the largest circles on the top of the stem. Then overlay the rest of the circles and sew them on the sewing machine, as shown in the photo below.
6. Bend back the stitched circles slightly to create an impression of volume.
You can already sign and give such a postcard, but to make it neater, stick a cardboard rectangle with flowers on the base for a postcard in the form of a book.
