After that, you need to wipe the skis first with a damp cloth soaked in water, and then dry. Remove the ointment from the sliding surface using a special solvent.

Wipe the mounts gently. During the long summer break in riding, the bindings should be kept open, with the adjusters set to their weakest position. This method will help maintain their elasticity. Lubricate the mountings with aerosol grease. Just in case, you can write down what the mount indicators mean.

The inner shoes need to be removed, washed well, then dried, then stuffed with paper or newspapers, this will help absorb excess moisture. Wash off all the dirt from the outer shoes, insert the dried inner shoes into them, fill them with paper again (this will maintain the desired shape), fasten the buckles.
Step 5
Treat the sliding surface of the ski. This is a very important point. It is made of porous plastic that absorbs the finest particles of dirt and dust. It is necessary to cover the entire sliding surface of the ski with paraffin, which prevents the ingress of oxygen and oxidative reaction. Experienced skiers do this with a special iron that melts and smoothes the paraffin wax.
