The rooster is the most famous poultry. Children know many different fairy tales, where this bird plays the main role of the hero. To arrange a fabulous show for your baby, you need to sew a rooster toy. This is not at all difficult to do, you just need a little time and patience.
It is necessary
- - pattern;
- - filler for toys;
- - multi-colored fabric;
- - threads, needle and scissors;
- - cardboard.
Instructions
Step 1
Redraw the pattern onto cardboard. Make the dimensions you need. Carefully cut out each piece and transfer it to the wrong side of the fabric. Make sure that the pattern prints well on the fabric.
Step 2
Cut out the cone along the abcg lines. Do not forget to make sure to add at least 0.5 centimeters to the seams. Sew the cone by hand with buttonhole stitches or machine stitch. Be careful the line "ah" does not need to be stitched. Fold the excess to the seamy side and baste it. Unscrew the cone and fill it with toy filler.
Step 3
Cut out two identical pieces of the bottom. Cut one part out of cardboard, and the second out of fabric. Increase the seam by about 1.5 centimeters. Go over the edge of the part with sparse stitches, thereby gathering the fabric. Insert the cardboard piece inside and tighten the thread exactly in the middle. To prevent this design from falling apart, secure it in the middle with a couple of stitches, make them both along and across. Sew the bottom of the cone and the bottom with blind stitches.
Step 4
Cut the cone along the dbwe line from the black fabric. Note that there is no need to make any increments here. Sew on the wrong side with buttonhole seams.
Step 5
Cut out parts from the second to the fifth from the multi-colored fabric. Sew each strip on the narrow side. Make small notches on the bottom of each part according to the picture.
Step 6
Slide the pieces onto the cone and carefully attach them to it. Start putting on from the bottom, gradually going up. Try to close the seam from the previous one with each subsequent detail. Cover everything on top with a black cone and carefully attach it on top.
Step 7
Cut out two pieces of the head and sew them together using a buttonhole stitch. Attach the comb and goatee to the head. Sew on the beak and eyes. For the eyes, it is best to use shiny beads.
Step 8
Prepare colorful tail strips. Sew them to the bottom of the torso where the seam line is.
