Instructions

Step 1

Herringbone on a drag

Wrap tinsel on the wire, you can fix it with glue, take a plastic stick, wind the wire with tinsel on it, this will be the barrel. Make twigs: cut a piece of wire twice as long as the intended twig, fold in half, twist both halves of the wire around each other, attach to the skeleton. Make the required number of branches, remember that the top should be shorter than the bottom.

Cut a piece of Styrofoam of such a size so that it fits snugly into the pot, make a hole in the center of the piece, insert the tree trunk there, fix the Styrofoam in the pot. Drape the pot and styrofoam with glitter paper or foil. Hang decorations on the tree.

Step 3

Herringbone on the frame

Take a piece of Whatman paper or watercolor paper and roll the cone as high and volume as you like. Cover the entire surface of the cone with tape, make even cuts at the base of the cone at intervals of 2 centimeters, dilute PVA glue in a bowl with water so that it becomes like milk in consistency.

Step 4

Soak the threads or twine in the glue thoroughly and start wrapping the cone in different directions, securing them in the cuts made at the base of the cone. Use different colors of thread if you like. Leave the tree in a dry place to dry.

Step 5

Cut the edge of the notched cone, turn the paper case inside the thread frame and remove it. Drape the bottom of the Christmas tree: tie, sew or glue a beautiful ribbon.
