In childhood, almost everyone cut out intricate snowflakes on windows from napkins and made New Year's toys, including paper lanterns. But if the technology of "children's" flashlights is remembered by almost everyone, then other miracles made of paper are not known to everyone. But a few lessons on working with paper will help to decorate not only the New Year tree, but also the room itself, and for any holiday.
It is necessary
Colored paper, glue, scissors, threads
Instructions
Step 1
Currently, office colored paper is on sale, both single-sided and double-sided. Wrapping or wrapping paper is also well suited for the same purposes. But it is better not to use the usual color one for labor lessons, as it is very brittle and breaks at the place of the fold.
Step 2
Simple flashlights. We take a colored A4 sheet, fold it in half lengthwise, mark the lines with a ruler at a distance of 10 mm, not reaching the outer edge by 20 mm. Then we make cuts along the lines and unfold the sheet. We fold it in a circle so that the cut strips are located vertically and glue the edges together. Slightly flatten the resulting flashlight from above and below and sew or glue the tape on which it will stick. You can make a variety of such a product and insert it inside and glue a rolled base of a different color. Such lanterns can not only decorate a Christmas tree and a room, but also wrap a Christmas stand with candles. And if you make tiny lanterns, you can even hang them on a cocktail straw as table decorations.
Step 3
Lanterns made of paper with figures. We take half an A4 sheet of the selected color, cut out teeth on the long sides, which will then be needed to glue the circles. We prepare animal silhouettes and glue them all over the sheet. Then we roll the paper into a tube and glue the edges. Cut out circles of a larger diameter from paper of a different color and glue them to the teeth at the top and bottom of the flashlight, resulting in the appearance of a coil. Then we stretch a strong thread in height through the entire flashlight and string a few more colored circles from below through 2 cm, each time with a smaller diameter. We decorate the very bottom with a brush made of colored threads, for example, a floss.
Step 4
Corrugated lanterns. For this, it is advisable to use wrapping paper, since it is quite long. If there is no such paper, then you will have to glue the sheets together. Cut out a paper blank 20 cm x 60 cm in size, fold it along its length, you get a narrow and long blank. Then we make an accordion out of it with a bend of 1 cm. We open the resulting workpiece along its entire length and set it so that it resembles the roof of the house. In this position, squeeze its edges along the entire length, roll up and glue the edges. Make a hanging rope on the top of the flashlight. You can attach thread tassels or carved animal silhouettes to the underside.
