Explosion is chaos. These are small fragments and objects scattering in all directions, pieces of earth, tongues of fire and smoke. Drawing an explosion is pretty straightforward. You just need to follow the instructions.
It is necessary
paper, pencils, eraser, paints, ruler
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare or buy (from any stationery department) drawing supplies. This is primarily what you will draw on, namely paper (a thick landscape sheet, a drawing Whatman paper or a thin sheet of snow-white paper for office equipment). What you will draw with are well-sharpened simple pencils of different hardness. You will also need auxiliary items - a soft eraser, a ruler, watercolors, crayons.
Step 2
A drawing always starts with a pencil sketch (sketch). Therefore, without deviating from the artistic rules, start with this.
Step 3
Draw a thin, almost imperceptible horizon line. Always follow the sketch lines with thin lines in order to erase the missing element in time and not leave a deep groove on the paper.
Step 4
Now put a small dot on the marked horizon line. It will serve as your guide and will be the epicenter of the explosion.
Step 5
Then, by hand or using a ruler, draw many thin, straight lines from the point and in all directions. The lines drawn should be frequent and different in length (this way, you get a kind of peacock's tail).
Step 6
Take a piece of paper and slide it over your pencil sketch. This additionally blends hard, straight lines.
Step 7
Draw small (irregular and different in shape) fragments. Their concentration near the base of the explosion should be greater than at its top.
Step 8
On the ground, apply all the necessary shadows in the area of the explosion.
Step 9
You can add realism to the painted explosion with the help of paints. Mainly use ash grays, browns, reds, oranges, yellows and blacks.
Step 10
Do not forget to work out the general background of the picture. This will further emphasize its realism and give a more complete look.
