Counter Strike can rightfully be added to the list of games of all times and peoples. In addition to the game itself, there are a huge variety of mods and plugins that add variety to the gameplay. In this article, we will talk about how to write in colored letters in Counter Strike chat using two special programs and a console command as an example.

- programs for changing the font color (Coloring CS 1.6 or CS 1.6 Colored Bind Maker).
Instructions
Step 1
The first program to change font color is called CS 1.6 Colored Bind Maker. You can download it from any site dedicated to Counter Strike, for example, from here: https://cheatoff.ru/load/0-0-0-1269-20. Install the program, then run it.
Step 2
The program has a single window with several elements. They are numbered in the picture. 1 - a button to change the color of the text to green; 2 - a button to change the color of the text in accordance with your affiliation (blue - special forces, gray - spectators; red - terrorists); 3 - a button that changes the color of words to standard (yellow); 4 - "Clear" button for the text field; 5 - text field for entering words and applying codes that change color to them; 6 - Preview. Here you can see how your text will look after applying the codes; 7 - a drop-down menu for switching the bind (Chat for all (say) - MM1; Team chat (say_team) - MM2); 8 - the line with the result obtained (copied and pasted as long as you are alive, colored text will only be visible to your team (say_team). In the general chat (say) colored text is displayed only if you are dead
Step 3
Now write words in the text field (5) and highlight it with the necessary codes. The picture shows a sample. After you have created a word or phrase of the required color, in the field (8) replace with the key that will call this phrase. Copy the resulting line, go to the cstrike (or cstrike_russian) folder and paste it into the config.cfg (or userconfig.cfg) file. Now the desired phrase in the game will be called by pressing the key you selected.
Step 4
Let's consider the Coloring CS 1.6 program. It is even easier in it. Download the program from the Internet (for example, here: https://depositfiles.com/ru/files/yy76a76u1). Install and start the game Counter Strike 1.6. Changing the font color is carried out using the function keys: F9 - changes the font to green in the chat for everyone (say); F10 - changes the font to green in the chat of your team (say_team); F11 - uses the font of your team (white - special forces; blue - spectators; red - terrorists) in the chat for everyone; F12 - uses your team's font (white - special forces; blue - spectators; red - terrorists) in your team's chat. Just like in the previous program, colored text will not be visible in the general chat as long as you are alive.
Step 5
You can also change the font color using the console. To do this, in the Counter Strike 1.6 game, call the console and write in it: con_color "xxx xxx xxx", where "xxx xxx xxx" is the color number from the color table (link to the table: https://www.cs-hold.ru/ KaPtuHku / frukt / colors_in_cs.jpg). The color number can be entered directly in the game, or you can enter it in the config.cfg (or userconfig.cfg) file in advance.
