Test Drive Unlimited is an excellent sequel to the legendary game series, released on PC. The game presents the gamer with an open game world of several tens of square kilometers and a wonderful assortment of vehicles in addition. Unsurprisingly, many fans prefer to explore game spaces collectively - this gives the gameplay a lot more dynamics and action.
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a licensed version of the game. Together with it, you will receive a unique serial number, which you will need to play online. You cannot play with the pirated version over the network.
Step 2
Make sure the internet channel is relatively free. You will need a stable connection of at least 128 kb / s, so it is preferable to interrupt downloading movies and torrenting during the game in order to offload the traffic.
Step 3
Download the latest patches for the game from the official site. Licensed servers always use the latest updates, so the game simply won't be able to work without the necessary modification.
Step 4
To play TDU (first part) create a GameSpy account. Download the official client of the program and update it to the latest version. After starting, you will see a window for registration: profile name, mailbox, password. Please note that the GameSpy system is universal for many games, so if you had to deal with it before, then you can use the old profile.
Step 5
Start the game. In the "Profiles" menu, select "Create a new profile", put a tick in front of the GameSpy ID and duplicate all the information that you entered during the last registration. If everything is done correctly, then you will be free to play on the official servers in the future.
Step 6
Directly a network game consists in the fact that all players from the server are on a single world map at the same time (it should be noted that the gameplay is noticeably enlivening). You can create teams with "pooled assets" (such as at home, for example), look for opponents, create your own races according to the rules you set. The purpose of all this is to develop your own character, upgrade vehicles and, as a result, a high reputation among other players.
Step 7
All the same is true for TDU 2. Significant differences begin only at the gameplay level, which opens up a much larger social component to the player, but the process of installing and registering on the server is absolutely identical.
