To make the wedding day unforgettable, the couple in love strive to consolidate the newly formed marriage union not only with kisses and rings, but also with the first romantic dance. Many couples choose the waltz as this ritual.
Instructions
Step 1
The choice of dance depends not only on how much time is left to prepare for it. So that the partners do not look awkward, and the movements are graceful, choose not too difficult steps. A wedding dance should not be torture, its task is light, weightless, soaring movements to the music. It is desirable that the melody is “yours”: maybe you met this music for the first time, maybe it is a favorite for both of you.
Step 2
The sooner you start taking dance lessons, the faster you will get used to the most crucial moment of the wedding. And then he will be exactly the way he is shown in the movies, and will not turn into mumbling step counting under his breath. So, to learn how to waltz, stand in the starting position. The partner takes his partner by the hand and takes her to the side at chest level. With his other hand, he holds his partner just above the waist, and she puts her hand on his shoulder.
Step 3
Learn the basic waltz movement. The partner with the left foot takes a step back and immediately with the right - a step to the right. Only after that the left leg is brought to the right, as in the starting position. Since the movement should be synchronous, the partner does the same, only in a mirror image: the right leg is forward, then the left is to the left, and then the right is attached to it. Further, the partner takes a step forward with her right foot, and takes her left foot to the left. Accordingly, the partner at this moment takes a step back with his left foot, and takes his right foot to the right. The steps should not be too wide or minced. Count them approximately shoulder-width apart.
Step 4
The movements of even the most simple wedding waltz "dilute" the graceful turns of the partner at the hand of the spouse. To do this, the partner needs to remove his hand from the back of his beloved and slightly raise the other hand so that the partner does not have to crouch while passing under her. After that, under his hand, she makes a movement in a circle, as if bypassing herself, holding on to the wrist of her husband's raised hand. Then the pair returns to its original position.
