What wedding is complete without a waltz? Some newlyweds are embarrassed to dance at their own wedding, fearing to seem clumsy or awkward. And in vain! There is nothing complicated in a waltz, you just need to feel a partner, be able to lead or be led.
It is necessary
- - comfortable shoes
- - patient partner
- - correct music (3/4 bar)
Instructions
Step 1
There are two main varieties of waltz - slow and Viennese. Having mastered the first steps, you will be able to slowly spin in a dance, after which you can move on to spinning under the famous "Danube waves".
Step 2
Get in the right position. The partner should extend his left hand to the side, which the partner freely covers with her right hand, and hugs the partner's shoulder with her left. The partner, in turn, hugs the partner with his right hand around the waist. The backs of both should be straight, chins raised and directed slightly to the side.
Step 3
Imagine that you have an imaginary quadrangle under your feet. Stepping in sync, slowly walk around the perimeter.
Step 4
The order of steps for the partner:
- step with the right foot forward
- step with the left foot to the side
- put the right leg to the left
- step with the left foot back
- step with the right foot to the side
- put the left leg to the right.
Step 5
The order of the partner's steps:
- left back
- right to the side
- left leg to right
- right forward
- left to the side
- the right leg to the left.
Step 6
It is best to practice the first steps without music, so that it does not knock you off your own rhythm.
Step 7
When the movements begin to work out, turn on the music and continue to move in time with it.
